Our Philosophy Regular eye exams are critical to protecting yourself against vision problems. Children need annual check-ups to ensure that their vision is developing properly through pre-school and school-age years. Common childhood problems include myopia (problems seeing far away), hyperopia (problems seeing at closer distances) and strabismus (eyes cross). In adults, glaucoma can cause irreparable damage before symptoms are evident. Yearly, glaucoma tests should be performed on anyone over the age of 35. In people over 40, more problems may start to become evident, and in seniors, cataracts can begin to limit your vision.
